SIGMAA- E totally redefines the way in which you look at your effluent treatment and disposal problems.Whatever your effluent characteristics physical, chemical and microbiological, SIGMAA E will evaporate it. And this evaporation takes place without steam, without heat exchangers!
This truly amazing technology, one which we are definitely proud of, uses a combination of electromagnetic and electrical forces and energy to bring about the evaporation
In phase I, SIGMAA E will reduce the volume, by evaporation 80% of the effluent. The temperature profiles are maintained in such a way, to prevent any volatile hydrocarbon evaporation. The solids remain in the balance 20%.
In phase II, SIGMAA E intends to totally evaporate as much as 95% of the initial load, thus literally giving you the solids in place of the large volume of liquid

Now, for the really interesting part:

  1. No pre-treatment is required for your effluent
  2. No clarification, biological treatment, filtration systems, membrane systems and all its associated paraphernalia. Just a feed tank and a pump to feed to SIGMAA E and another tank to collect phase I rejects is ALL THAT IS REQUIRED.
  3. Absolutely no scaling and corrosion, which are the common features, associated with conventional mechanical evaporation systems. In fact, on a practical basis, almost all the mechanical evaporation systems for RO rejects in this country are not operating on a sustained basis because of this problem. SIGMAA E totally eliminates this problem.
  4. No steam required no boiler to generate this steam, no fuel to run the boiler, no water treatment plant for boiler.
  5. Occupies very less space

    All this with an operating cost of only 75 paise to 1 rupee/litre of effluent!
